Warren District, Mule Mountains,
Cochise County, Arizona
SIZE: 2 1/4" x 1 7/8"
Description: A few years back we purchased a small collection of Arizona minerals from a friend of ours who
had done a trade with George Stevens, famous Arizona mineral collector and retired dealer. There were many Bisbee pieces
(azurites, malachites etc...) but this was the only really good copper in the lot. It is a very aesthetic, branching,
sculptural specimen that shows really well from both sides.
The luster is matte, however the color is that deep, rich patina that we all want in a copper specimen. Exceptional
piece from an old, hallowed classic U.S. locality.
