Description: lustrous deep red Rutile crystal on a matrix of crystalline Pyrophyllite. An excellent thumbnail from the classic Champion mine, featuring a single isolated crystal of beautiful form and superb luster (as you can see in the pics). It is artfully placed on a crystalline Pyrophyllite matrix. The crystal is sharply terminated and has a minor bit of matrix adhering to the top. Excellent.
