Description:
A cabinet sized group of etched, lavender Fluorite with multitudes of sharp, elongated scalenohedrons of golden Calcite across the face. The reverse side reveals an internal core of yellow fluorite and is dusted with brassy mm sized chalcopyrite crystals.
You don't find this kind of specimen on the market too often anymore!
We purchased this antique Fluorite specimen in a collection many years ago from Dry Creek Minerals.
It is a beautiful oldy, being collected during the 1950s!
Jay mentioned it was collected by the Belden Family of Auburn, CA on one of their many trips to the mines.
This specimen comes with its old, original Dry Creek Minerals label protected in a Glassine envelope.
