Description: Description: Blueish to white lustrous barite cover the face of a cabinet sized yellow/purple fluorite crystal. The association, color contrast and old provenance make this a winning specimen! We purchased this antique Fluorite specimen in a collection many years ago from Dry Creek Minerals. It is a beautiful oldy, being collected during the 1950s! Jay mentioned it was collected by the Belden Family of Auburn, CA on one of their many trips to the mines. This specimen comes with its old, original Dry Creek Minerals label protected in a Glassine envelope.
