Description:  A "whopper" of a garnet specimen from the classic California ocurrence! I tried to supply enough photos to convey the size and quality of this specimen. It is all andradite (nearly 2 lbs!), of coarse - but has incomplete areas as well. Crystal faces are lustrous and the piece displays beautifully.
